Elena Canter explores in other times and cultures; in the real and the imaginary… Tribal jewellery, entwined Celtic designs, the strict geometry of Art-Decó, mediaeval touches, cubism or avant-garde architecture inspire her fetish pieces which become totems of security and prestige.

These are the jewels that collapse uncertainties. Each piece of jewellery is the result of the need for a dialogue between the artist - who draws on metal and gives life to bracelets, pendants, medallions, etc. - and the skin of someone who feels it, interprets it and makes it his own.

Elena Canter creates her own language and a universe in precise harmony in which she blends contemporary trends and survivals of the past.
